Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had modern and spotless rooms that were quiet, stylish, and up to date; however, the heating system was on a timer and didn't warm up the room sufficiently. The service was professional, friendly, and helpful, although staff presence was limited as they were often in the tavern below. The location was perfect for the event in Hull city center, offering easy access to the marina and museum quarter, but being above a busy pub that closes at midnight. The dining experience was of a really good standard with plenty of food and drink choices, but it lacked cooked options. The facilities were excellent, including a great shower and a 42-inch smart TV with access to Netflix, all in a convenient location.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were sparkling clean and reasonably quiet despite being above the bar. The breakfast was lovely, especially for the start of the Hull year of culture. The service was brilliant, with very pleasant and welcoming staff who were always there to help. The location was excellent, close to shopping areas and not far from the Kcom stadium, making it convenient for exploring the Old City of Hull. The dining experience could have been better with more options, but overall, I really enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is above a very 'down to earth' pub, which may not suit everyone's taste, but the rooms are spotlessly clean and of a high spec. The staff are very friendly and helpful, providing a great service. The location is excellent, especially for exploring Hull's old town, but being above a busy pub can lead to some noise. The dining options are of a really good standard, although some may find the choices limited. The facilities are brilliant, offering amenities like laundry and an airport shuttle.
The hotel offers a good view of the Guildhall, although there could be some noise in the morning. The Double Deluxe room, albeit slightly small, was quiet and very comfortable. The room's heating on a timer was insufficient. The service was super friendly with lovely staff, and the breakfast was of good quality with a variety of choices. The location was perfect for different activities and close to various facilities. The dining was comprehensive and fresh, although lacking a cooked option. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel overlooks the Guildhall, offering a good view but can get slightly noisy, especially in the morning. The rooms, although with great facilities, felt a bit too small for a double, making it a bit cramped to move around.
